CIP – Confederation of Portuguese Business signed, on November 13th, a cooperation protocol with SP CR – Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, during the Portugal – Czech Republic Business Meeting (check the video here). The event was attended by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Augusto Santos Silva, and his Czech counterpart, Tomáš Petříček, Portuguese Secretary of State for Internationalization, Eurico Brilhante Dias, the Czech Republic Ambassador in Portugal, as well as the Presidents of CIP and SP CR, António Saraiva e Jaroslav Hanák, respectively.

With this Protocol signature, the Portuguese and Czech federations committed to strengthening the economic cooperation between their business community, promote and support business missions, exchange relevant information about economic activities, and to target and circumvent obstacles concerning investment and trade.

Moreover, the interventions counted with the remote contributions of Rita Araújo and Martin Partl, representatives of the Trade and Investment Agencies of Portugal (AICEP) and Czech Republic (CzechInvest), respectively, in which they presented the business environment in their respective countries.
