Advocating for the Economic Activity
Our mission is to stand for Portuguese enterprises, in Portugal and abroad, with autonomy and independency.
We believe and support an open economy, anchored on knowledge and innovation, as the engine towards economic growth and social development.
CIP advocates for a dynamic economy founded on productivity increase and competitiveness improvement, where all agents should contribute to generate opportunities, growth and prosperity, and benefit from it.
Social Partner
Transforming and Developing our Society
Sitting both on the Economic and Social Council and the Permanent Commission for Social Dialogue, as well as on the European Economic and Social Committee, we engage in negotiations to implement social and economic policies that are aligned with enterprises’ interests and competitiveness and to promote economic cohesion.
We bring the voice of our members to the main political, economic and social Portuguese institutions, and we assure that the voice of Portuguese enterprises is heard, regardless of its size or specific sector of activity.
This is one amongst our strengths: we take part of social dialogue in Portugal, in Europe and in the World.
