The first meeting of the CIP’s Strategic Council for the Attraction of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) occurred at CIP headquarters in Lisbon. The moment included the swearing-in of the President of this Council, Miguel Frasquilho, by the President of CIP, Armindo Monteiro.
According to Miguel Frasquilho, the mission of this team is to present measures that improve the attractiveness and competitiveness of the Portuguese economic tissue and make it more resilient because only with a more competitive and attractive economy will it be possible to increase wealth creation to levels that provide a sustainable improvement in the portuguese population’s life.
The Council includes representatives of leading Portuguese private sector actors – companies and business associations.
