Armindo Monteiro, President of CIP, received the Luxembourg Ambassador to Portugal, Martine Schommer. On this occasion, the discussion was focused on the opportunities for cooperation between Portugal and Luxembourg.

The President of CIP mentioned the enormous added value of this relationship, with Portugal benefitting from the best practices practiced in Luxembourg in various areas. In terms of business opportunities, this is an exciting market in areas such as advanced materials, financial activities, ICT, logistics, health, and cleantech.

According to INE, Luxembourg was the 47th customer for Portuguese exports of goods in 2022, with a share of 0.2%, and ranked 55th in imports (0.1%).
