Armindo Monteiro, Vice-President of CIP, participated in the III Ibero-American Forum on Open Innovation, organised by CEIB (Ibero-American Business Council), SEGIB (Ibero-American General Secretariat), and FIJE (Young Ibero-American Entrepreneurs), in Madrid, on 11th and 12th of July.

The participation of Armindo Monteiro took place in the panel “Interconectando los ecosistemas emprendedores de Iberoamérica“, together with the following speakers: Mariano Mayer, General Partner & Co-Founder of Newtopia VC, Karla Alarcón, Director General of NTT Data Foundation, Natalia Bayona, Director of Innovation of the World Tourism Organization, Rodrigo Tona, CEO of Ternova, Jimerson Asencio, Innovation Manager of FICOHSA, and María Andrea Villanueva, Deputy Director of ColCapital. The panel was moderated by Pablo Adrián Hardy, Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Stratesys.

In his speech, the Vice President of CIP considered the measures needed to strengthen entrepreneurship and innovation in the post-pandemic.

The Forum’s main objective is to bring together international experts from the private and public sectors and reach concrete conclusions and proposals on open innovation, given the XXVIII Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government, scheduled for March 2023 in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic.
