CIP sent a letter to the Prime Minister in the context of the extraordinary meeting of the European Council on 9 and 10 February, which presents CIP’s comments on the strategy proposed by the European Commission, “A Green Deal Industrial Plan for the net-zero age.”

This communication finally introduces an industrial policy component. With this component, the EU can achieve the objectives and targets set in the European Ecological Pact. We agree with the four pillars on which the strategy presented by the European Commission is based (regulatory, financial, skills, and international trade). Moreover, an in-depth analysis of the impact of some proposals is necessary, as well as consultation and dialogue with the industry in its implementation.
