The Confederation of Portuguese Business (CIP), Repsol Foundation, the Hispano-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (CHP), and the Portuguese-Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILE) promoted the last 5th of July, in Lisbon, the “Iberian Conference on Sustainable Mobility: Challenges and Opportunities of Decarbonisation of Mobility.”

In the opening session, there were the interventions of António Saraiva, President of CIP, Antonio Brufau, President of Repsol, Carlos Moedas, Mayor of Lisbon Municipality, and Jorge Delgado, Secretary of State for Urban Mobility.

Two roundtables followed: “Innovation and digitalisation as a basis for sustainable and intelligent mobility” and “The challenges and opportunities of the automotive sector in the decarbonisation of transport in the Iberian Peninsula.”

In the first roundtable, moderated by Tiago Vidal (Partner and Managing Director of LLYC Portugal),  the participants were the following: Luis Filipe Natal Marques, President of EMEL, Lola Ortiz, General Director of Infrastructure Planning and Mobility of the Madrid City Council, Gil Nadais, General Secretary of ABIMOTA, Felipe Jiménez, Professor of Transportation and Head of Intelligent Vehicle Systems at INSIA, Aitor Arzuaga, Director General of Alba Emission Free Energy and José Carlos Caldeira, member of the Board of Directors of INESC TEC.

In the second roundtable, moderated by Mar García Ramos (Automotive and Mobility Partner at Grant Thornton Spain), the participants were the following: José Couto, President of AFIA, Helder Pedro, General Secretary of ACAP; José López-Tafall, General Director of ANFACMarta Blázquez, Executive Vice President of FACONAUTO and José Portilla, General Director of SERNAUTO.

The Conference finished with the interventions of Francisco Dezcallar, President of the General Assembly of Partners of CCILE, and António Calçada de Sá, President of CHP and General Director of Repsol Foundation.
