The President of CIP, Armindo Monteiro, received the CCILM – Portuguese Mexican Chamber of Commerce and Industry delegation, composed of the President, Eduardo Serra Jorge, and the Vice-President, Jorge Alberto Yarte-Sada.

The agenda items included possible partnerships between the two institutions to facilitate synergy between Portuguese and Mexican companies.

With a population of around 130.3 million, Mexico is the second most populous country in Latin America and the second largest economy, ranking 15th in the world. Therefore, closer relations represent an enormous opportunity for the national economy.
