CIP participated in the Development Committee meeting from Business at OECD (BIAC), which occurred in the past November 12th, by video call.

The highlight of this meeting was to launch the strategic document of this committee, for which CIP contributed with relevant considerations, entitled “Business at OECD (BIAC) Development Strategy paper: A roadmap to broadening development efforts”, which offers a horizontal perspective about development, stresses out various valuable forms of intervention from the private sector in view of  the Development Agenda and provides recommendations to overcome some of the challenges that companies face on the field.

The virtual gathering was attended, among others, by Susanna Moorehead, chair of the OECD’s Development Assistance Committee (DAC), and from the usual representatives of business confederations of the OECD countries.
