CIP is the largest and the most representative Employers Confederation in Portugal. We are the voice of over 150,000 companies, and our objective is to defend their proper functioning, as well as economic progress. Our representativeness brings us increased responsibility.

We serve our members, with the aim of ensuring that the joint work of employer associations are a guide to our companies, as well as a solid pillar of an organized civil society, We work to answer to the challenges that companies and society face, as agents of change, anticipating needs and proposing solutions.

For the period 2020-2022, we propose a programme structured around 4 axes:

• A Confederation that stands for the competitiveness of companies;
• A Confederation that promotes talent and skills development for the digital age;
• A Confederation that takes part in the development of a sustainable Portugal;
• A Confederation that is committed to the reinforcement of the associative movement.

This is the agenda of the team I have the honor to preside. We are working to accomplish these tasks, as only by investing in our companies will we be able to open new horizons for a more prosperous future in Portugal.
